Called all the big players in the KC area to give me a bid for foundation work. Mark and the guys at Foundation King were quick, honest and fair and most importantly educated me throughout the process. I was able to understand exactly why my foundation needed repairs, the multiple approaches to repairing it and how most of the other companies immediately chose the most expensive option. Mark gave us the best solution for the best price and the work was done quickly AND cleanly. Wouldn’t trust my foundation to anyone else.

We had some water leaking into our basement storm shelter and storage areas. Foundation King proposed a solution to address the leaks with carbon fiber crack repair and a waterproofing membrane. In addition, to help pull more water away from the house an open French drain was suggested. These elements were just implemented last week.Since the work has just been completed I really cannot comment as to how effective the solution will be until we experience some stormy weather over the next several months. However, I can say we have been treated well throughout this process. Our appreciation goes out to the Foundation Specialist (Bruce) for site visit, suggested solution and cost estimation – the Office Manager (Crystal) for scheduling questions and all payment processing – the General Manager (Chris) for addressing questions during the work and after – and the onsite Labor Team (Daniel, Jorge, Anthony) with Crew Lead (Victor) for their hard work.Victor and team were tireless in there efforts. It should be noted that this kind of work is strenuous, requires attention to detail and more skill than you might think. So, the onsite Labor Team is where the rubber hits the road to truly make the drainage solution happen. In addition, they were friendly, professional and did a good job at daily site cleanup.We will consider Foundation King for potential future work.

We chose Foundation King to work on our sinking foundation because we liked the style of their piers and the price! I am beyond pleased with the entire process from beginning to end! The sales rep was very knowledgeable and not pushy.Victor's team was AMAZING! They were really nice and hard working. You could see the pride on Victor's face when we were finally able to open our front door with ease! They had to take out part of our landscaping to install one of the piers and put it back exactly as it was before! All of the other companies that I had gotten bids from said they would have to remove a lot of my landscaping and would not be responsible for putting it back.

Waterproofing a basement is a traumatic experience; your yard and house are dismantled in order to complete the project. We had two basement walls that were moving inward! They told us exactly what needed to be done to stop and fix the movement. They did exactly what they said they were going to do in a prompt and precise manner. The crew was absolutely fantastic and they explained every step. They cleaned everything up and were always concerned about what the neighbors would think of the area. They did an awesome job and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Foundation King!!

They were on time for the estimate appointment and were professional throughout. They went through the inside of our home as well as the outside and recommended we hold off on any intervention activities. They said just to keep an eye on it and they would come back for another free inspection should we have new concerns. It's rare that a company with an opportunity to cash in tells you that spending money is not necessary right now. That kind of honesty was refreshing and appreciated.

Called Foundation King to come out and look at our front porch before we started some other repair because we thought we needed foundation work first. Foundation King responded to request quickly and was able to put us on schedule to come out in no time at all. Bruce Hart showed up on time with very pleasant energy took at look at the porch and explained to us what he looks for and why we did not need any work done at this time. Our other project wouldn't be affected. It is nice to get good folks who are not always trying to money out of you when not needed. Thank you Bruce!!

I am thrilled with my experience with Foundation King. They were professional, started earlier than expected, got the job done when they said they would and it looks great. They put in carbon fiber wall supports rather than bulky I-beams which made it easy to refinish my basement walls. I have used at least three foundation companies for different repairs at rental properties over the last 15 years and Foundation King stands out among them. I have already recommended them to my dad and to a friend. Highly recommended!

I contacted Foundation King because I noticed a few cracks and spalled areas on the exterior of my basement walls. Bruce came promptly and, after looking things over and taking some measurements, gave me some advice on how to repair some items myself. He also indicated that most of what I saw wasn't really a structural issue and he recommended doing nothing in those areas. It was nice to get some professional analysis and advice and a recommendation that he really didn't need to do any of the work required!

They quickly gave me a fair repair estimate to fix my 6 foot basement wall crack, as I had requested. No unwanted add-ons or more complicated, more expensive proposed repairs. They were one of four estimates that I got. Once I agreed to their proposal, they were able to schedule me right away, thanks to a cancellation, and quickly (a half day) got the crack repaired. Their workers were nice and polite and made sure everything was cleaned up when they were done. All the paperwork was fast and completed by e-mail. So far so good!!

We had an egress window installed and had about 10 different companies come out for a bid. I knew immediately that I wanted to go with Foundation King based on how knowledgeable and professional the staff was. Carl was awesome and answered all the questions I had. Foundation King provider us with one of the best contractor experiences we have ever had. They went above and beyond to keep an inherently messy job neat. The work solved all our foundation problems and they worked around our difficult narrow lot situation. The work was all top quality. Tested by a gully washer the day after the work was finished. They excavated and water proofed our foundation, straightened our basement walls and installed carbon fiber wall supports, piers and sump pumps as needed. We are beyond pleased with every aspect of our experience with Foundation King and fully recommend them with no reservations.

Working with Carl and Foundation King was a great experience. They took the time to visit with us about the work that was being proposed prior to submitting a bid for the work. They were up front and gave us a worse-case scenario. We were given examples of other projects they had done and the success they have had, while all along verbally telling us there was not a 100% guarantee they would be able to move the house. They had very professional and experienced staff on site, and once the work was completed they cleaned up the entire area to where you could barely see where they had done the work. I even received a follow-up call from Carl to explain the final results and what they were able to accomplish. I would recommend this company to anyone needing any kind of foundation repair work. They will be very up front and honest with you about the work they feel will be best for your situation. I did get more than one bid, and one of the other companies was adamant, and told me more than once, that the work proposed by Carl and Foundation King would NEVER be able to lift the house unless they excavated the hill next to the house, AND remove approximately two-thirds of the carport. Neither of these things happened and they were able to successfully lift the house! I couldn't be more pleased and would use them again in a heartbeat!!!

I am in the process of remodeling my house, both inside and out. I hired Foundation King to install a new egress window well for me as the old one had rusted out and had to be replaced. They did a very nice job on this project at a very fair price.At the same time Carl came out to give me an estimate for the new window well, I had him give me a quote to level some floors on the inside of my house that had settled. He explained to me how they would do the work and told me he estimated the cost to be at least $1200 but no more than $3000. In my mind I had been concerned this project could cost me several thousand dollars as the floors had settled considerably and we all know foundation work can be expensive.I hired them for this project as well and when it was all said and done, I received an invoice from Foundation King for $1600. I truly am thankful for the great work they have done for me and the fair manor in which they treated me. In most cases when a company gives you a range, you tend to expect the final invoice to be much closer to the higher end than the lower end. This was a very fair price and the floors are perfectly level.Thank you, Foundation King!

We were getting water in our finished basement whenever we got heavy rains.Carl came out and met me at the house. He told me what he thought the problem was, and what he thought the best way to handle the situation, as the lower level is finished, and he can't see the floor or the walls.His crew, Victor, and I cannot remember the other two guys' names, came out and got right to it. Carl stopped by and we went out back to see what we could see. After looking over the whole situation (we did not find an obvious crack) Victor and Carl decided on a course of action. Victor was very confidant that he knew what the problem was and the best way to go about solving it. The guys did a great job putting everything back together, you could hardly tell that they had been there.Crystal and another very nice gal from their office were very helpful in getting me on the schedule, and then bumping me up when they had someone else cancel. The invoice was for exactly what they said would be (I'm pretty sure they went beyond what I was quoted).If I ever have another issue with my foundation, I'll be calling Foundation King back. Foundation King did a great job for us following water in our basement following heavy rains They came out and excavated three sides of our house to waterproof the foundation and installed drainage. They had to move five 30 year-old bushes in front of our house in order to do the excavation. They transplanted the bushes into our back yard, and when the work was completed, they dug up the bushes and replanted them back where they belonged. I was sure the bushes would die, but several months later, they have new growth on them! The workers also fixed our sod where they had to dig it up and cleaned up the yard.They did such a good job that we hired them to put in an egress window while they had the foundation dug out. They also straightened basement walls that had moved in the bad soil common to our neighborhood in Overland Park. Our next door neighbor was impressed with them and hired them to fix their foundation as well.We highly recommend Foundation King!

I had a wonderful experience with Foundation King. Carl, who came out and offered options to our fix was knowledgeable and spent ample time addressing all of my concerns. Trent came out and repaired our crack quickly and did a superb job. Lastly, they were reasonable with their prices. I won't name other companies that I also inquired with, but they wouldn't just fix what just needed to. I will use them for all future foundation issues, but I don't think I will need it because they did a great job.
